With this assessment program, journey-workers receive credentials that validate their knowledge and skill. Also, included with this program is an analysis of an employee’s abilities. What this means, is that LPR’s journey-level employees are evaluated and place in training to continue their specific career development needs.
LPR also offers accredited, verifiable credentials to other levels of craft-workers, through our apprenticeship programs. Through training and mentoring all LPR employees are empowered to be actively engaged safety leaders where stopping unsafe conditions is both a right and an obligation. LPR utilizes pre-task planning and JSAs to help ensure teams and employees are equipped to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions and behaviors. The JSA process also helps LPR employees to be prepared by asking and answering questions such as what will cause us to STOP and adjust. LPR’s safety culture makes decision making processes easy by following the simple expectation of doing the right thing.
